We were at Serena's doctor today and talking about how we might need to change doctors because of insurance. Serena knows the nurses well and gabs with them all the time, so I guess she felt free to share with them. Here is the conversation:
Serena: We might have to get a new doctor
Nurse 1: Oh that's sad. But you'll probably find a nice one.
Serena: Yeah. I don't want a doctor who's a criminal.
(Nurse #1 and I are laughing...nurse #2 keeps going with it)
Nurse 2: Oh yeah? What would a doctor who's a criminal do?
Serena: He might steal your money or jewels or something.
(I am tearing up from laughing so hard, Serena however is completely serious)
She kept going a bit but I was laughing too hard to hear it.
